Product Description 14-16 to 10-16AWG Step-up Butt Connector Our assembly guys love this little heat shrink butt connector. It’s a step-up, with one side accepting a 14 or 16AWG (blue side), and the other side a 10 or 12AWG (yellow side). It’s also great as a 3-way splice, where you could put two 14AWGs into the yellow side and a single 14 or 16AWG into the blue side. This is super common in bilge pump wiring when you want to splice a manual feed from the switch, and an automatic feed from a float switch into the same pump. See our product photos as an example of this. This butt splice features a tinned plated copper barrel (with center point stop), and adhesive lined heat shrink wrap.
